Ideal Marketing Solutions Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through Retargeted. Retargeted is a trading style of Ideal Marketing Solutions Limited.

1. What data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact details you provide when starting a form, such as your name, date of birth, address, email address, and mobile number.
• Information about the claim or enquiry you started, including which form, which step you reached, and which details you had already entered before stopping.
• The content of conversations you have with Oliver via WhatsApp, including messages you send and details you provide in response to Oliver's questions.
• Technical information about how you access our services, such as IP address, device type, and browser, captured automatically when you visit our website.

2. Why we collect it

We use this data to:

• Re-engage you, via Oliver, if you start a form and do not complete it, so you can finish the process you began.
• Progress your claim or enquiry on your behalf, including liaising with the relevant law firm, lender, or insurer where applicable.
• Maintain a complete and accurate record of your interactions with us, for regulatory and compliance purposes.
• Understand how our forms and services are used, so we can identify and reduce unnecessary friction.

3. Our lawful basis for processing

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (given when you start a form and agree to be contacted about your enquiry) and our legitimate interest in re-engaging genuine drop-offs and maintaining accurate records of regulated activity. Where we are required to retain records for regulatory compliance, we rely on our legal obligation to do so.

4. Oliver and AI-assisted communication

Oliver is an AI conversational agent. When you message with Oliver, your messages are processed to generate relevant, accurate responses and to progress your claim or enquiry.

Oliver always discloses that he is an AI assistant if you ask him directly. Every conversation with Oliver is logged and retained, creating a complete record from initial contact through to any outcome, so that interactions remain auditable and defensible if ever required by a regulator.

5. Who we share data with

We may share your data with:

• The law firm, lender, or insurer relevant to your specific claim or enquiry, so they can progress it.
• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.), as the messaging channel through which Oliver communicates with you.
• Regulators or law enforcement, where we are legally required to do so.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data and conversation records for as long as is necessary to progress your claim or enquiry, and for 6 years afterwards in line with standard limitation periods for financial and contractual claims under English law. Where a longer retention period is required by a specific regulator or legal obligation, we will retain data for that longer period instead.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
